Upcoming Dates 2012
8th Jan to 12th Feb - Wet Yeti
With an early interest in typography and graphics the young yeti enjoyed drawing and illustration letters and coats of arms for large bronze castings and engravings.
More recently, he has studied digital photography, and, building on his photoshop skill, is developing a style combining all of these elements. Being a humble yeti, he is constantly overwhelmed by the environment around him and takes inspiration from almost everything and everybody on a daily basis.
In a world crammed full of visual information, it can be very difficult for a yeti to find his way, but equipped with a camera and sketchbook, a path is being made.
Where it will lead is anybodies guess......
12th Feb to 18th Mar - John Nicholls

This series of images are taken from a photo journal of the last 18 months.
Capturing scenes from various locations in Scotland, London, Prague and Marrakech, the series is an aesthetic work capturing recurring themes of loss and freedom, moral and spiritual totems and a continued fascination with the beauty of dereliction.
29th Arpil to 24th June - Newton

Painted Sky
an exhibition of paintings by Newton Ross
Monday 30th April to Saturday 23rd June 2012
Newton’s paintings are inspired by his love of Scotland.
Scotland’s weather and light naturally create dramatic changes
in mood and these are often most evident (and most colourful)
in the vast expanses of Highland and Island sky.
In this series of work, Newton has strived to reflect the constantly
changing nature of land, sea and sky.
Newton is originally from Greenock and spent many years
enjoying city life in Edinburgh. In 2007, with his partner Lindsay
and their dog Mhara, Newton moved outside the city centre
to live in nearby Newtongrange.
